After the long awaited Dr. appointment, I have some exciting news. Today starts our new outlook on TTCing. New territory, and hopefully a happy ending. I went into my appointment today and did not know what to expect. I have not had many good experiences with new doctors but today I have some faith. He listened, he understood, and he does not want to put things off any longer than need be, not because of medical necessity, but because this is what WE want!!! We discussed everything I have been through TTCing in the last 6 years, the long stressful journey that got us to where we are today. His was really quick to tell me that he is not going to waste my time or my money. He understands the anovulatory issues I have because of the PCOS. His solution (especially because my insurance doesn't cover anything fertility treatment related) was start me today on Provera to induce my cycle, and start clomid right away this cycle. He gave me 5 months worth of refills to use if I need them and told me that hopefully he will see me in the next few months for my first prenatal visit and we will focus on keeping me pregnant then, or he will see me in 6 months to discuss more aggressive, yet easy on my wallet, treatments to go from there. So here we are, Day one of Provera and hopefully no more than 2 weeks until day one of clomid.
